Grade 3: Handa's surprise

We have seen Handa's surprise story. It's about Handa, a girl from Africa, who walks in the jungle and different animals "steal" her fruits.

 We have put in order pictures from the story and then, we have watched the video to check. It's been a nice activity.

Grade 1: Sea animals and summer

We have started learning vocabulary about the sea. We have started with sea animals: seahorse, jellyfish, turtle, octopus, shark, whale, fish, crab.

Grade 1: Clothes

We are going to learn new words related to clothing. So we have read the story " The smartest giant in town"  to introduce this new vocabulary.

Clothing: trousers, shoes, socks, shirt, jumper, jacket, boots, hat.
Adjectives: big, small, scruffy, smart.
Words to be reviewed: animals (giraffe, mouse, dog, fox, goat), colours, seasons (spring, summer, autumn, winter) and weather (sunny, hot, cloudy, cold).

As we talked about Christmas presents, now we are learning new vocabulary related to toys.
